… with hurricane force, these days.
The first change is that I’ll be leaving VMware after this week. I don’t yet want to talk about where I’m going next, but the prospects are exciting.
In less-good news, as reported on Vital Motorsports, my racing web site, I crashed my Evo at Infineon Raceway a few weeks ago. You can read up about it there, as I think I’ve already written just about all there is to be said about the crash. I’ll still be open-tracking and racing next year but the actual plans are still up in the air.
I’ve started moving my car parts and tools into a shop space that I’m renting nearby in San Jose. It’ll allow me more space, storage and equipment for fabricating, repairing and servicing my race car, and allow me to do so without driving my neighbours and housemate nuts as my late-night wrenching has sometimes done. It’s not cheap but still much cheaper than trying to rent or buy a house with the same facilities. I think it will be well worth the money.
